I remember as a child if any of us was stung by a stinging nettle we would hunt for a “Doc” leaf growing nearby to rub on the affected part . . . these days I’m sure we would run to the nearest chemist for a pharmaceutical ointment. Likewise, if we had a tummy ache, we were given a cup of chamomile tea and a hot water bottle, and tucked up in bed.

Put a brake on it! Aka de-snack!

Yes, I’ve invented a new word …“de-snack”. With more time at home, there is, I sense a little too much snacking, nibbling, grazing going on!
Yes, it is lovely to sit down with your family for morning tea, lunch, or a pre-dinner nibble … but we certainly don’t want to emerge from this pandemic a few kilos heavier. NO!
