Well, here we go again!
Well, here we go again! It can only get better! More important than ever to focus on the positive and push away any nagging sense of unease.
Vaccinations, face masks, hand sanitizer and fresh air are our safety nets. As well, of course, as keeping our immune system strong and robust (see right). I sense that we all feel as if we have been treading water for the last two years … time now to swim to shore!
So, let’s make 2022 the year we tick off at least one pleasant item on our to do list. Something we have been meaning to do. Let’s do something we are passionate about, perhaps even something we normally wouldn’t do. Here are just a few ideas to get us moving!
How about learning a new language, or brushing up on one? Take a cooking lesson, or learn how to pickle those excess cucumbers! Improving your running times or increasing the weights you lift. Join a yoga or Pilates class or take a horse-riding lesson. Learn to swim or surf. Book a swim with the dolphins or a whale sighting adventure. Write that memoir you have been meaning to do or investigate your family history. Go to a museum or an art gallery and thoroughly study one item or painting. Take a course in nutrition or herbal medicine (highly recommended!) or attend a gardening seminar. Possibilities are endless! Let’s wholeheartedly embrace this year, tuck fear away, and gleefully enjoy our chosen mission!
