The crunch factor!
Last month. I urged you all to embrace the wonderful array of autumn fruit and veggies, and to look up and observe the spectacular sunrises and sunsets … and I sneakily used these autumnal wonders to get you out and about a little more! Now I shall use the crunchy autumn leaf to pursue this theme further!
That most appealing sound of crisp fallen autumn leaves underfoot is truly a sensory delight. Scrunch, crunch, rumple, crinkle they go!
And with such a limited time to enjoy the wonder of the scrunch we should make the most of it.
By taking a little extra time to complete our early morning walk or run we are able to experience this once a year crinkle to the max.
And to put more joy to the crunch, let’s move more quickly over these gorgeous leaves, and pick up our pace as well. The faster we run, walk and stride… the more autumnal leaf crunch we can enjoy.
So let’s add an extra 10 minutes to our morning or evening exercise regime and complete it in the same time frame. In other words, faster and longer! I know you are all capable of taking on the crunch challenge, and what a wonderful combination of improving your fitness and truly embracing another of autumn’s blessings!
