Swine Flu Virus (Influenza type A H1N1)
It is important to take a few simple avoidance measures too. Such as;
• Avoid touching public access surfaces such as door handles, lift buttons, telephones, (alcohol wipes or gels are useful)
• Keep in general good health. Exercise regularly, eat healthy, nutritious meals, drink plenty of water and obtain sufficient sleep
• Wash hands frequently and avoid touching face with unclean hands
• Avoid close contact with those who are sick
Preventative supplements
• Zinc – 15mg twice per day
• Echinacea – 5ml twice per day OR
• Andrographis – 5ml twice per day
• Vitamin C – 1000mg twice per day, in a well balanced powder form including bioflavanoids
A herbal throat spray is also handy when traveling or when in crowded spaces.
For acute infection a herbal blend made up of Echinacea; Elderberry; Andrographis; and Hypericum* taken at 7ml three times per day
is very effective. Ensure this blend is prescribed by your practioner, please do not self prescribe! Also increase vitamin C to 5000mg in small divided doses and REST!
