Seeded petaled muesli
Although the grains are best left to soak overnight, even with a half-hour soak you still get delicious results.
1 cup organic oats
1 cup organic barley flakes
1½ cups filtered water
1 apple (substitute berries if fructose sensitive)
1 banana
½ cup sheep’s milk yoghurt
1 tablespoon chopped hazelnuts
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1 tablespoon flaxseeds
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Edible rose petals (optional)
Soak oats and barley in the water overnight. Grate unpeeled apple and add to roughly chopped banana. Add the fruit to the oats and barley. Add all other ingredients, except the toasted sesame seeds, serve in individual bowls, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Add a flourish of home-grown pesticide‑free rose petals for extraordinary presentation style!
