Seed Mix
Fresh batches of my nutritious and delicious seed mix (made up of sesame, linseeds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds) have just arrived. Used whole on top of your favourite healthy cereal provides an additional 15 g fibre!
Otherwise put it in the blender and benefit from all those important essential fatty acids.
My favourite way of consuming seed mix is to add 3 tbsp of seeds to ½ cup yoghurt, mix in ½ cup fresh blueberries, a slosh of organic flaxseed oil, 1⁄3 cup organic oats soaked overnight, and sprinkle with chopped oven-roasted Brazil nuts. A great start to the day! Think of all that fibre, antioxidants, selenium and beneficial fats. And compared to similar seed blends on the market, at $8.95 for 500 g it’s almost a giveaway!
