Resolutions
Back in my January newsletter I discussed the importance of not attempting to make too many resolutions. I suggested we just pick one of the most important issues we wish to resolve once and for all, and apply all matter of force to it!
How are you all going? I am sure many are head down focusing on achieving their resolution.
In fact quite a few lovely patients contacted me after I announced mine was to increase my running distance, to say they too were determined to increase their fitness, some by running, others by joining a gym or employing a personal trainer. (By the way, I know you are all dying to know… I am up to 9.01 km now! Getting to know the whereabouts of every lemon tree in the back streets of Yarraville very well…not that I’m stalking lemons of course!)
For the few who are still struggling to get going (hurry up its April!!), why don’t you pick one small area of your lifestyle you want to improve (decrease coffee, increase water, lose a few kilos, give up chocolate), and just for one month apply every inch of your determination and strength to achieving as much as you can?
There is no doubt a positive, effective, unstoppable determination and persistence can accomplish just about anything! Come on, you CAN do it!!
