April choices
April is the perfect month to ensure we have in place our plans to keep fit and healthy during the cooler times ahead. So early to bed, early to rise it is!
During these cooler months when it gets dark quite a bit earlier in the evening, nothing is more delightful than snuggling up with a good book under the cozy doona (no smart phones needless to say!) to induce a good night sleep. Waking refreshed and rejuvenated ready to enthusiastically tackle a vigorous walk amongst the autumn leaves, or head off to your gym class, swimming session or jog with a friend. Whatever your ideal exercise regime, always best to, well to be blunt, get up and get it over with! You can then rightfully feel pleased with your effort for the rest of the day. Our plan to exercise after work may be well intended, but busy days and post-work commitments can interfere with the best of plans. Better late than never does not seem to work very well when it comes to exercise objectives.
Imagine having all your exercise and healthy meal preps happily concluded by 7am, leaving the whole day ahead filled with promising potential! I can guarantee no one regrets an early morning start to the day, it’s so invigorating and liberating!
