A naturopath’s (weekend) breakfast

I thought I may be able to sneakily “forget” to share (or more accurately ’fess up to) what I eat for breakfast on non-working days… but no, I have had far too many gentle reminders from many lovely patients, to share.
Here goes, but promise not to laugh…
Jill’s weekend breakfast
2 slices of organic walnut and caraway rye sourdough bread
½ baked pear
2 tablespoons thick organic yoghurt
¼ avocado
Vegemite
Olive oil
½ lime
Toast one slice and spread with olive oil, avocado and vegemite, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice and cracked pepper to taste.
On the non-toasted slice, spread thickly with the yoghurt and top with sliced baked pear.
And if I am going to be entirely truthful I dunk the avocado toast (cut neatly into finger soldiers), into a strong long black.
There, now I have ruined my reputation as a seriously “walk the talk” naturopath! In my defense I would like to add it could have been worse…at least I’m not dunking a white baguette!
