Winter warmth

As we peek into the first month of winter what do we see?
Astonishing sunsets, lemon and orange trees resplendent in their fruity glory, colourful scarfs and comforting woolly jumpers and families and friends snuggled up with a bowl of steaming soup or a fantastic coffee in the abundant quirky Melbournian cafes.

Only three months of winter and before we know it, we’ll be bursting out into a jasmine-scented spring. So best not to fatten up and have the miserable burden of slimming down again.

No reduction of exercise because it’s too dark, no excessive carb loading for warming comfort! No. A hearty bowl of porridge for breakfast, a veggie-dense warming soup for lunch and baked veggies and protein choice for dinner. Easy.

Let’s glide through winter with an eye to spring!
