Highly likely! In my defense, I swear all this breakfast nagging is in your best interest!
It is crucial to start the day on a balanced nutritious note, it sets the tone for the rest of the day. Every morsel you place in your mouth in the early hours, dictates the quality of your day ahead!
So okay, here goes…this is my typical working day breakfast ritual. It changes slightly on the weekend. (More of that next month!)
Jill’s breakfast
3 tablespoons of seed mix
1/2 cup non-fat yoghurt
1/3 cup raspberries (or blueberries)
1/2 cup organic oats (sometimes I soak these overnight, giving this dish more of a Bircher tinge)
1 teaspoon golden flaxseed oil
Mix seeds and oats with yoghurt, add flaxseed oil, stir in well. Scatter berries on the top squashing some for a puréed look and leaving others whole.
This breakfast is addictive… it’s true! I urge plagiarism!
(In winter time, I cook the oats and seeds together, sometimes substituting a banana for the berries and swap the yoghurt for rice milk.)
